Hello, and welcome to our website. We hope you enjoy your stay, and, who knows, you may even be inspired to join our ranks. We are an extraordinary group of busy individuals committed to the ideals of service.
Chartered in 1975, the Rotary Club of Westtown-Goshen is one of the most active in the region - hence our moniker, We-Go. We have a long history of doing the impossible - from salvaging and fixing the Oakbourne Park Water Tower back in the 70's to helping the Goodwill Fire Company raise the funds to build their training facility to feeding the hungry through the Chester County Food Bank.
Our club is often referred to as the "Dinner Club" in the Greater West Chester area due to our regular weekly meeting time in the evening at 6pm. Members usually meet for happy hour before the meeting to wind down the day. We also have a strong tradition of "frocularity," our own version of social events - come join us at one of our outings to truly experience it.
Together with the Sunrise and Lunch Clubs, we cover the West Chester area with morning, mid-day and evening options to network and meet members of our community. Of course, the exciting news is that We-Go has also incorporated an online discussion format for members who want to commit to the ideals of service and what Rotary is all about, but can't make the in-person commitment of weekly meetings. Online discussions replace the weekly program format and require you to contribute at least one comment on a threaded discussion topic - and to attend four meetings a year. Please spend five minutes, or five hours, exploring our website to find out more.
Our physical meetings are every Thursday at 6pm at Timothy's of West Chester. If you are interested in visiting us and seeing what our club and Rotary is all about, please feel free to contact me.
Thank you for helping us to aid humanity and make the world a better place.
